The SEPT is a voluntary organization that primarily focuses on identifying football talent among young children of the rural, sub-urban coastal and tribal belts of Kerala, aimed at providing these children with early age training and the opportunity to enter the football mainstream.
Since our focus is on providing opportunities to children who are under privileged and marginalized, our programme focuses on total development by endeavoring to provide them with a stable environment, nutrition and food, clothing, shelter and formal Education vis a vis enhancing their football skills.
Established in 2004 by a small group of football enthusiasts, SEPT currently runs 52 football nurseries spread across the State of Kerala training nearly 2000 children in different age groups between 8-14 years.
These children are further exposed to various levels of competition not only at regional and national levels, but have also toured abroad and done well in Asian and European competitions.
SEPT has over 100 trained coaches working across these 52 centres. Foreign collaborations with international football bodies have gained us access to experts from The Netherlands, Brazil, Germany and Malaysia, They train and update the SEPT coaches on international football standards.
