    • Hails from the town of Eengapuzha, near Thamarassery in Calicut district.
    • Megshan lost his father at a tender age of 1. He was brought up by his mother Shylaja, who earns a living, working in a grocery store.

    • Megshan dreams of playing in the 2017 Under-17 World Cup.
    • If not for football, Megshan says he would have wanted to join the Indian Armed Forces.
    • His favourite player is local lad named Mohammed Rafi, who is now playing in the ISL.

     

    • Represented Kerala Under-16 State team in 2015. Finished Runners-Up in the South Zone.
    • Represented Calicut district twice, in 2014 and 2015, finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.
    • District champions with SEPT in the RAMCO Cup in Calicut.
    • Only member of the Eengapuzha SEPT Center to be selected to the Elite Center in Farooq.
    • Finished 3rd at the All India 5s tournament in Bangalore.
    • Champions at 7s football tournaments held in Kadalundi, Calicut in 2014 and also in Pulkavu.
    • Won the Best Player Award at the 2015 Subroto Cup at the Sub-District level.
