Background Achievements

    • The younger son of Ashokan and Rajitha, Abhinand grew up in Meppayur, near Perambra.
    • His elder brother Abhinav is currently in 10th standard.
    • His father Ashokan is the sole wage earner in the family, which he earns through daily carpentry and masonry work.

     

    Abhinand is a huge fan of Argentina and its best player, Lionel Messi.

    • Part of the SEPT team who are currently State Champions in the Subroto Cup and will compete in the National Championships in September.
    • Playing as a Center-back, Abhinand posseses great strength and awareness in his game. His great aerial abilities makes his headers a great threat.
    • His performances were most reflected when he won the Best Defender Award at the SEPT Zonal Fest last year.
    • Abhinand has also represented teams like ABC Pulkavu in other tournaments like the VP Sathyan Tournament and Soccer Fest, being a regular fixture in the defensive set-up.
