• Ananthu is from the footballing-loving area of Beypore.
• He comes from a very humble family where his father Jayan is a daily wage worker.
• His mother also tries to help in making ends meet by selling flowers. Ananthu was fascinated by football right from school.

Ananthu's idols are Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

• Part of the SEPT team who are currently State Champions in the Subroto Cup and will compete in the National Championships in September.- 
• Ananthu started his football journey when he made it into his school team. He played in central midfield largely.
• He was then selected to train at arguably SEPT's most successful training center - Beypore.
• Ananthu joined the team only last year, much later than the rest of the trainees. But, Ananthu has risen through the ranks so quickly that he became one of 6 kids to be selected to the residential programme in Ferook College.
• A brilliant dribbler with the ball, skilled at providing that final pass for the goal, Ananthu is an integral part of the SEPT team. He was a key member of the Beypore team which won the SEPT Fest this year, with him scoring 2 crucial goals.
